Methandrostenolone
Also known as: Dianabol, Dbol, Methandienone
Methandrostenolone (Dianabol) is the most iconic oral anabolic steroid, developed in the 1950s by Dr. John Ziegler for the US Olympic team. It was one of the first steroids specifically designed for performance enhancement rather than therapeutic use. Known for rapid and dramatic gains in size and strength, it remains one of the most popular bulking steroids.

Mechanism of Action
A testosterone derivative with a methyl group at the 17-alpha position (for oral bioavailability) and a double bond between carbons 1 and 2. Aromatizes heavily to methylestradiol, a potent estrogen. Promotes significant nitrogen retention, glycogenolysis, and protein synthesis. Increases intracellular water retention within muscle cells.
Dosing Research
Typical dosing ranges from 20-50 mg per day, split into multiple doses due to its short half-life of 3-5 hours. Often used as a 'kickstart' during the first 4-6 weeks of a longer injectable cycle while waiting for the injectable to reach peak blood levels. Should not be run for more than 6 weeks due to hepatotoxicity.
Side Effects & Risks
Significant hepatotoxicity as a 17-alpha-alkylated oral steroid. Heavy aromatization leads to water retention, bloating, and high risk of gynecomastia. Elevates blood pressure substantially. Negative impact on lipid profiles. Androgenic side effects including acne and hair loss. Causes significant HPTA suppression. Back pumps and shin splints are commonly reported.

Testosterone Enanthate
SteroidTestosterone Enanthate is one of the most widely used testosterone esters for hormone replacement therapy and performance enhancement. It features a long-acting enanthate ester that provides sustained release over approximately 1-2 weeks, making it one of the most convenient injectable testosterone formulations.
Testosterone Cypionate
SteroidTestosterone Cypionate is a long-acting testosterone ester very similar in pharmacokinetics to Testosterone Enanthate. It is the most commonly prescribed form of testosterone in the United States for hormone replacement therapy and is widely used in performance enhancement contexts.
Testosterone Propionate
SteroidTestosterone Propionate is a short-acting testosterone ester that requires more frequent injections than longer-estered variants. It provides faster onset and clearance, making it preferred for shorter cycles, contest preparation, or situations where rapid clearance is desired.
Oxandrolone
SteroidOxandrolone (Anavar) is one of the mildest and most well-studied oral anabolic steroids. Originally developed for medical use in burn patients, muscle wasting, and osteoporosis, it is valued in performance enhancement for producing lean, dry gains with minimal side effects. It is one of the few steroids prescribed to women and children in clinical settings.
