Chonluten

Also known as: Glu-Asp-Gly, EDG

Chonluten is a synthetic tripeptide (Glu-Asp-Gly) developed as a bronchial and lung tissue bioregulator in the Khavinson system. It is proposed to normalize respiratory epithelial function and support lung tissue repair. Evidence is limited to a handful of in vitro experiments and small, uncontrolled Russian clinical observations.

Mechanism of Action

Proposed to regulate gene expression in bronchial epithelial cells, promoting normal differentiation and function of respiratory tissue. In vitro data suggests modulation of proliferation and protein synthesis in lung fibroblasts and bronchial mucosal cells.

Dosing Research

Oral capsules: 10 mg 1-2 times daily for 10-30 days. Some sublingual protocols exist. Often combined with immune-supporting bioregulators in respiratory health protocols. Courses repeated every 3-6 months.

Side Effects & Risks

No adverse effects reported in limited available literature. Rapid degradation of this short peptide limits both efficacy and toxicity potential. No controlled human safety data exists.
